Harveys has acquired the trade and personnel of Thorntree Print Finishers Ltd and is now able to offer a comprehensive range of Print Finishing facilities:

Film Lamination

We stock an extensive range of laminating film ensuring all popular widths and finishes are available at all times.

  • Gloss Finish has a high resistance to scratching and creasing making it suitable for most applications.
  • Matt Finish gives a very smooth texture and a very high quality image.
  • Silk Finish is halfway between gloss and matt resulting in excellent clarity to the underlying print while offering more scuff resistance than matt.

We also offer environmentally friendly biodegradable laminates which are wood pulp based and are seeing a steady increase in popularity.

Pharmaceutical Folding

We have a pharmaceutical folding machine so if you are having trouble finding a supplier for this type of work then give us a try!

Folding and Stitching

We have the machinery and the ability to carry out a comprehensive range of folding and stitching work such as open and closed gate folding and saddle stitching using a variety of colours.

Wiro Binding

Our Wiro Binding department is best suited to small and medium size runs using a variety of colours and capacities. The maximum capacity is 32mm and the maximum length 450mm.

We also have the ability to do comb binding

Hand Gluing

We will glue a wide variety of products such as tent cards, cartons and folders. Over the years we have found that hand-gluing results in a stronger end product.

Encapsulation

We can encapsulate a range of sizes from Business Card to A1.
