Waste material recycling program - Monday 1st January 2007

Harveys is pleased to announce a new recycling policy has been introduced into all areas of our working practices.

This means that the company has moved to achieving 70% of its waste being recycled. The waste from PVC and polypropylene products can be used in the production of drainage guttering, pipes and garden furniture amongst many others.

Of course paper and board are also recycled and the company purchases recycled greyboard fillers for some of its products. Environmentally friendly laminates also mean increased recycling content once our products reach the end of their lives.

Within our offices, we recycle cups from our vending machines and have a secure shredding and recycling facility for all waste paper items.
